St. Francis Xavier is the charter organization for Troop and Pack #776. The pack/troop meets in the Religious Education Building on Thursday evenings. Cub Scouting is a family program designed for youth in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting: Citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Troop 776 is a year-round program available to youth who have earned the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouting and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade, or who are 11 years old but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the Scouting America objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Needed are adult volunteers to lead scout groups.
