Anselm is survived by his wife Anna Laura Dahl Thomas, daughters Anne Shannon Thomas and Rachel Thomas, a son Eric Thomas, his brothers Harry (Frankie) and Nick (Rita) Thomas, sisters Wilma Thompson and Lucille Spalding (Pat), grandchildren Amberlyn Jarvis (Christopher), Dakota Bennett (Amber Nicole), and Leslie Brooke Stone (Kelly), and 8 great grandchildren, hosts of nieces and nephews, and his beloved Sheltie Maggie.
He was proceeded in death by his parents William Kelly Thomas, Sr. and Mary Josephine Abell Thomas, brothers Gerald Thomas, Kelly Thomas II (Libby), James Louis (Lum) Thomas, B.J. Thomas, Jude Thomas and sisters Veronica Hill, Nora Edna Lee, Kay Spencer, and his grandson Dylan Thomas Bennett.
He was a 1968 graduate of St. Charles High School in Marion County, KY, a former parishioner at St. Athanasius, and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
He was affectionately known as A.T. Biggs and was a retired mill operator for Anaconda Aluminum/Novelis with 36 years of service.
Born and raised in Calvary, KY he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards, listening to music, watching old Westerns, and spending time with his family and his dogs.

A mass in celebration of his life is scheduled for Monday, December 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier in Mt. Washington, KY.
